Establishment of Covid-19 treatment Centre at DH Akkarayankulam, Kilinochchi

I would like to bring to your kind attention that we have initiated the partition works at DH Akkarayankulam to establish a COVID-19 treatment centre as instructed by you by your letter no. DGHs/COVID-19/2020-347 dated on 08.06.2020.
I arranged a planning discussion at RDHS Office,Kilinochchi on 11/06/2020 with the RDHS Kilinochchi, Director DGH/ Kilinochchi, Consultants, Medical Officers and other relevant staff and prepared a Plan of actions.
Then I received a letter from GA, Kilinochchi on 11/06/2020 stating that more than 15 Civil Organizations from this area and more than 100 people sent protest letters against establishing the COVID-19 treatment centre at DH Akkarayankulam (copy attached).

Re: Implementation of the short term and midterm projects to achieve maximum and immediate benefits to the citizens of the country
This has reference to the letter no. DDG (MS)1/47/2020 dated on 13.03.2020 regarding the above matter (copy annexed). As such the Ministry of Health has taken initiative to provide maximum and immediate benefits aiming towards the people of the country through the implementation of some identified key areas.
Therefore, you are requested to take necessary measures implement the task given in the above letter in your hospital immediately.

அவ்வாறு எமது நாட்டிற்குள் வருகை தருபவர்களை சுகாதார பாதுகாப்பு நடைமுறைகளைப் பின்பற்றி தனிமைப்படுத்தலுக்கு உட்படுத்தி பரிசோதனைக்கு உட்படுத்துவதன் மூலம் எமது நாட்டில் இந்நோய் பரவுவதை தடுக்க கூடியதாக இருக்கும்.
எனவே, இவ்வாறு யாராவது இரகசியமான முறையில் இந்தியாவிலிருந்து உங்கள் பிரதேசத்திற்கு புதிதாக வருகை தந்திருந்தால் அவர்கள் பற்றிய தகவல்களை உடனடியாக உங்கள் பிரதேசத்திற்குரிய கிராம சேவையாளர், சுகாதார வைத்திய அதிகாரி மற்றும் பொதுச்சுகாதார பரிசோதகர் ஆகியோருக்கு அறியத்தரவும். அல்லது மாகாண சுகாதார சேவைகள் பணிப்பாளர் பணிமனையின் 24 மணிநேர அவசர அழைப்பெண் 021 222 6666 என்ற இலக்கத்திற்கு அறியத்தரவும்.
